The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has allowed the use of taxibots to tow single-aisle aircraft from the parking bay to the runway on a trial basis. Usage of these semi-robotic vehicles to tow the aircraft while keeping its engines shut will enable airlines reduce fuel consumption and pollution. Pilots will remote control these vehicles until the runway point.

According to a press report by PTI, the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in Delhi will be the first to have these vehicles. SpiceJet airlines will be the first airline to conduct the trials of these taxibots. Commercial usage is expected to commence with effect from October this year.

DGCA has "accepted a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certificate that allows taxibots to tow an aircraft from the parking bay to the runway holding point without using the main engines...", the press report continued.

Supplemental type certificate is a document issued when an applicant has received the FAA's approval to modify an aeronautical product from its original design.

The Israel Aerospace Industries has developed the taxibots and has entered into an agreement with India-based KSU Aviation for operating these vehicles in India.

According to a KSU spokesperson, "The use of taxibots will help in cutting carbon dioxide emission at the IGI airport drastically. Usually, 800 kg of carbon dioxide is emitted for every 15 minutes of taxing. Globally, in the airline space, 80 million tons of carbon dioxide is emitted every year because of aircraft taxing."

Eighty-five per cent of the fuel consumed during taxing can be checked with the use of a taxibot. Other advantages include reduction of noise level by 60 per cent. Taxibots could also reduce foreign object damage by 50 per cent since the engine remains shut, as per some independent studies.

The first taxibot will be brought to Chennai this month and then transported to Delhi. In all, orders for 40 these vehicles has been placed, he said, adding that airport operators in Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru have evinced keen desire in adopting this vehicle.

The spokesperson said that as of now they are determining and finalising the operational procedures for use of taxibot at the IGI airport.

Air New Zealand has announced the launch of a new channel for its in-flight entertainment. The new channel is called 'Tiaki - Care for New Zealand channel' and is dedicated to educating visitors about travelling responsibly and safely in New Zealand.

The new channel will stream educational content from partners Tourism New Zealand and the Department of Conservation and include informative videos such as 'Driving Safely in New Zealand'.

A press release announcing the launch of the new channel stated, "The in-flight content follows on from the launch of the Tiaki Promise in November which saw the airline join forces with the Department of Conservation, Local Government New Zealand, New Zealand Māori Tourism, Tourism Holdings Ltd, Tourism Industry Aotearoa and Tourism New Zealand to inspire travellers to act as guardians of Aotearoa."

"The Tiaki Promise encourages travellers to explore the country in a way that keeps everyone safe, protects the environment, respects culture and protects the country for future generations," the press release continued.

The channel is available in English, Te Reo, German, Chinese and Spanish on all of the airline's international services. Content in Japanese language will be added in June.

Emirates Airlines has announced the return of its My Emirates Pass service, a service that enables passengers flying on Emirates to Dubai to gain discounts of up to 50% in over 500 leisure & retail outlets as well as for leisure activities such as indoor skiing and water amusement parks across UAE.

SpiceJet has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emirates to enter into a reciprocal codeshare agreement that opens new routes and destinations for passengers travelling between India and popular destinations across Africa, America, Europe and the Middle East. The agreement is subject to necessary government approvals.

The new partnership will enable passengers flying on SpiceJet to enjoy seamless connectivity on flights to cities on Emirates' diverse international network. The partnership will assist Emirates by extending its network in India to cities such as Amritsar, Jaipur, Pune, Mangalore, Madurai and Calicut in addition to the existing cities, resulting in an increase of 67 new weekly connections to Dubai.

A press release announcing the partnership stated, "Passengers travelling from India will have more choice to travel seamlessly with minimum connection times, when flying to destinations in Emirates' Europe network such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, Manchester and Amsterdam. The codeshare agreement will also open up flights for Indian travellers to North and South American destinations such as New York, Washington, Toronto, and Sao Paulo as well as Middle Eastern destinations such as Jeddah, Kuwait and Amman, operated by Emirates."

Etihad Airways has announced the launch of a major transformation programme for Economy Class cabins. The programme includes cabin upgrades and refurbishment of 23 narrow-body Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, with a completion date scheduled for August this year.

The Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft are used mainly on short-haul regional services and to destinations that fall within five hours of flight from Abu Dhabi.

The refreshed modern cabins will include new personalised wireless streaming entertainment to smartphone and tablet devices, a new and improved Economy dining concept, and new industry-leading Extra-spatial Design seats.

The new seats feature increased knee room and are cleverly designed with fast-charging USB points and an adjustable phone and tablet holder for extra comfort. For dining, the airline has redesigned the complimentary dining concept for flights longer than 3 hours.

These flight will feature a larger, contemporary bistro-style meal with high-quality, fresh seasonal ingredients and more destination focused choices. Dessert will be served separately with the after-meal coffee & tea service, thereby reducing clutter on the tray during the main meal.

In addition, guests can connect to Etihad’s onboard Panasonic eXW system and wirelessly stream over 300 hours of free in-flight entertainment directly to their own devices.

In-flight entertainment via personal seat back screens will remain standard in the Economy cabins on the airline’s fleet of wide-body Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Etihad Airways has announced the successful completion of its first single-use plastic-free flight on Earth Day. Flight EY484, which landed in Brisbane on 22 April – Earth Day, was the first flight in the region across all airlines to operate without any single-use plastics on board. The flight was undertaken in a bid to raise awareness of the effects of plastic pollution.

The airline has undertaken a commitment to go beyond Earth Day celebrations, and pledge to reduce single-use plastic usage by 80 percent not just in flight, but across the entire organisation by the end of 2022.

On Earth Day, Etihad identified and removed over 95 single-use plastic products that were used across its aircraft cabins and presented guests with sustainable amenity kits, award-winning eco-thread blankets made out of recycled plastic bottles, tablet toothpaste and edible coffee cups; children were treated to eco-plush toys.

In this way, the airline prevented over 50 kilograms of plastics from being landfilled. Going forward, Etihad has committed to remove up to 20 percent of the single-use plastic items used on board by June 1, 2019. By the end of this year, Etihad will have removed 100 tonnes of single-use plastics from its in-flight service.

In addition, the airline is committed to the implementation of fuel-saving initiatives to reduce carbon dioxide emissions further. In 2018 alone, the airline reduced carbon emissions by 1,48,000 tonnes - a saving equivalent to approximately 1,236 flights between Abu Dhabi and Barcelona or the removal of over 10,200 cars from the road.

The airline achieved this by retiring its B777-200 aircraft and replacing it with Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the most fuel-efficient commercial aircraft in operation. Additional measures such as utilising a single engine to taxi the aircraft in and out on the tarmac reduces fuel burn and selecting lower flap settings to reduce drag and conserve fuel were also employed.

An improved engine washing procedure performed at regular intervals to remove environmental deposits, which increase engine workload, also improved efficiency by as much as 0.5 per cent.

According to a press release issued by the airline on the subject, "Fuel consumption is influenced by several factors such as air traffic management, weight carried and how the aircraft is flown."

Commenting on the subject, Captain Sulaiman Yaqoobi , VP - Flight Operations at Etihad Airways said, "By increasing collaboration on a monthly basis within the airline’s Flight Operations, Network Operations, Ground Operations areas and Etihad Engineering, Etihad saw noticeable improvements to its fuel savings and emissions profile, a top agenda for a sustainable airline."

Etihad operates a programme of innovative thinking devoted to sustainability and carbon reduction, refined through continuous operational adjustments as well as long-term projects such as aviation biofuel development.

Qantas Airlines has announced the successful completion of the world's first-ever Zero-waste commercial flight. This flight with no landfill waste production marks the beginning of the airline's plan to cut 100 million single-use plastics by 2020 end. The airline also aims to eliminate 75 percent of the airline's waste by 2021 end.

All in-flight products used onboard Flight QF739 flying from Sydney to Adelaide and staffed by cabin crew from the Qantas ‘Green Team’ will be disposed of via compost, reuse or recycling.

To ensure this, the airline substituted or removed altogether from the flight about 1000 single-use plastic items. Sustainable alternatives such as individually-packaged servings of milk and Vegemite, fully-compostable meal containers made from sugar cane and cutlery made from crop starch were used.

At the end of the meal service, Qantas cabin crew collected the items left over for reuse, recycling or composting in multiple waste streams.

Passengers did their bit by preferring digital boarding passes and electronic bag tags; staff were on hand to ensure any paper passes and tags used were disposed of sustainably. The Qantas lounges at Sydney Airport’s domestic terminal also went ‘green’ for the flight, with multiple waste streams in use.

Qantas and Jetstar will replace 45 million plastic cups, 30 million cutlery sets, 21 million coffee cups and 4 million headrest covers with sustainable alternatives by the end of 2020, in its effort to remove 100 million single use plastic items every year.

A press release issued by the airline on the subject stated, "Airlines are legally required to dispose of some materials permanently, such as quarantined food from international flights. Qantas will work with suppliers and government to reduce the volume of this waste."

"The national carrier’s waste reduction initiative has been called The Bowerbird Project, named after the Australian bird that reuses small plastic items. The name was nominated by a cabin crew member in a staff competition," the press release continued.

In addition to these measures, the airline operates the largest carbon offset scheme in the aviation industry, with a passenger offsetting their flight every minute. From mid-2019, customers will earn 10 Qantas Points for every dollar spent offsetting their travel from Australia, which is the highest standard earn rate of any frequent flyer initiative.

Virgin Atlantic has unveiled details of its long-awaited Airbus A350-1000 aircraft. The new aircraft includes an entirely new Upper Class cabin with a brand new suite and an on-board bar, the first in the aviation industry.

The new Upper Class suite, designed in collaboration with the airline's most frequent flyers includes seats in a 1-2-1 configuration facing towards the windows and with deployable privacy screens that convert the seats into suites. Each suite has a 44" pitch with a 82" fully-flat bed that transition seamlessly into an upright seat. Other features include in-flight entertainment with 18.5" screens, the largest in the fleet, and with the ability to be controlled by the passenger's own personal device.

Upper Class suite passengers also enjoy access to the Loft, the largest social space in the airline's fleet and with its own on-board bar.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced its plans to launch its new lounge in Honolulu, Hawaii. The new ANA lounge at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu will be the largest lounge in the airport. The lounge will be located on the 3rd Floor of Terminal 2, above Gate C4, which is on the second floor.

The lounge is scheduled to open on May 24, 2019. It will incorporate both the ANA Lounge and the ANA Suite Lounge.

The lounge has been designed as a space to relax and unwind with innovative features such as direct boarding access for passengers with seats in the upper deck of the aircraft. Its location right above Gate C4 ensures that passengers boarding A380 flights from Gate C4 and with seating on the upper deck can access the upper deck of the aircraft directly from the lounge.

In terms of dining experiences, both the ANA Suite Lounge and the ANA lounge will feature Hawaiian & Japanese cuisines, helping passengers experience the best of each culture side-by-side. The lounge also includes family areas with toys and books.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced the launch of a new functionality aimed at simplifying the online booking process and the seat selection process. The modified seat selection process will go into effect on May 29, 2019 and will be applicable for flights departing from August 19, 2019 and onwards.

A press release issued by ANA announcing the changes stated that the new functionality will be applicable to passengers who make their reservations for certain booking classes and also select specific seats. With the new functionality in place, passengers who book their tickets closer to departure will also be able to select and confirm their seats.

The airline arrived at the decision to simplify the process on the basis of customer feedback.

"For the majority of passengers, there will be no additional cost for the advanced seat selection. ANA Diamond Service Members and Platinum Service Members will be exempt from these charges. A fee will be applied only to passengers who make their reservation through booking class V, W, S, L and K and also select specific seats," the press release continued.

The advanced seat selection process is part of an ongoing bid to make the full benefits of ANA available to all passengers.

SWISS Airlines has announced the launch of a new door-to-door ground transport service for its passengers in Geneva, Switzerland. The aptly-named new service, SWISS Airport Shuttle Geneva offers door-to-door ground transport between the passenger's home and the Geneva Airport.

The service is limited to passengers travelling on SWISS Airline to or from Geneva with pick-up or set-down addresses in Western Switzerland or adjacent parts of France. It will be available 24/7, making it favourable especially with passengers travelling by late evening or early morning flights.

The service will be provided in partnership with Globe Limo SA with a fleet of vehicles that can accommodate up to 16 passengers. Guests have the option of choosing between a shared or a private shuttle service.

A press release issued by SWISS airlines on the launch stated, "The swiss.com/airportshuttlegeneva reservation platform also offers the choice of a shared or a private shuttle trip. The shared option is available to anyone located more than 20 kilometres from Geneva Airport, and allows the journey (and some of the costs) to be shared with fellow travellers. The private option offers a more direct and individual journey, and can be booked from any pick-up location."

"The fare in both cases consists of a pick-up charge and a per-kilometre component. The pick-up charge amounts to CHF 15.00 (with the shared option) or CHF 50.00 (with the private option) for the first passenger, plus CHF 6.00 per additional passenger. The route rate is CHF 2.70 per kilometre, though if the journey is shared, this is reduced by 25% per pick-up," the press release continued.

Austrian Airlines has announced the launch of additional train services as part of its efforts to reduce the disruptions caused by the scheduled runway renewal at the Salzburg Airport. The train services will connect Salzburg Central Station to the Vienna Airport, thereby, giving passengers a viable alternative to Salzburg.

The runway at Salzburg Airport is currently undergoing a renewal process; all flight operations to and from Salzburg Airport has been thus suspended until the end of May 2019.

A press release issued by the Austrian Airlines regarding the additional train services stated, "Austrian Airlines is offering expanded travel options by train between Salzburg’s Central Station and Vienna Airport. The existing AIRail offering in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) will be increased tenfold from three to up to 30 daily train connections until one week after the shut-down of the runway. Accordingly, a Railjet with an Austrian Airlines flight number linking Salzburg and Vienna will be available to passengers every hour between 0500 hrs and 2030 hrs."

"Austrian Airlines customers enjoy various advantages, for example a guaranteed connection, regardless of whether their journey continues by plane or train. This means that in the case of an unexpected delay of the train or flight, passengers will be automatically booked on an alternative connecting service if they do not reach their train or flight on time. Business Class passengers travel in first class on the train and are also given free access to the ÖBB lounge before departure. Moreover, passengers can collect miles on AIRail route within the context of the Miles & More program. Finally, there is also a catering voucher, which can be used in the ÖBB dining car. British Airways has become the first UK airline to use biometric technology for boarding international flights from USA to UK. The technology means that customers need to present their passport only at check-in and security. They no longer need it at the departure gate; they do not even need to show their boarding pass.

Instead travellers simply look into a camera prior to boarding, wait for their biometric data to be verified and then walk onto the aircraft. The face recognition technology has transformed the airport experience into a seamless experience for passengers flying from Orlando, Los Angeles and New York, JFK.

It has halved the amount of time taken to board an aircraft.

A press release issued by British Airways stated, "At Orlando, British Airways is boarding almost 240 customers in 10 minutes – becoming the first carrier to set up permanent facial recognition gates at the airport."

The airline was also the first UK airline to use this technology on domestic (UK) flights departing from London Heathrow. Currently, all domestic departures from the airline’s home hub at Heathrow Terminal 5 are boarded biometrically.

"For international flights, self-service boarding gates have now been installed at the terminal, allowing customers to scan their own boarding cards to gain access to their flight. It’s the first step towards biometric boarding on international flights from the UK," continued the press release.

British Airways has announced the opening of its highly-anticipated Club Lounge at the New York JFK Airport, USA. The airline operates up to 12 transatlantic flights daily.

Spread across 22,000 sq. ft., the Club Lounge features elegant, relaxed seating areas, ample work stations with power outlets, an entertainment room with state-of-the-art entertainment and sound from Sony, and the reopened Elemis Spa.

Club passengers can enjoy an ultimate pre-flight dining experience in a brasserie-style dining room with an extensive menu of freshly-prepared dishes or a range of smaller range of 'grab and go' items, before boarding the flight. The lounge also features a granite-topped Quaich Bar with an experienced bartender on-hand at peak times.

The new First lounge at JFK features a boutique pre-flight dining service, an opulent bar as well as a state-of-the-art wine room with an enomatic dispenser that ensures each glass of wine is served at exactly the right temperature and oxidized to the precise level.

Customers at JFK Terminal 7 have also seen changes to the public areas and gate spaces to make them more appealing, welcoming and comfortable. Customers flying in First and Club World enjoy an enhanced check-in experience at the exclusive Premium Zone as well. Qatar Airways has announced the launch of a new dining experience for its Economy class passengers onboard its scheduled flights. The new experience branded 'Quisine' will be launched in phases across the airline's route network with effect from April. The first passengers to enjoy this experience will be those on flights to and from Brussels, Cardiff, Gothenburg, Moscow and St. Petersburg.

A press release issued by the airline announcing the launch stated, "To begin their dining experience, passengers will now be presented with redesigned menu cards which will include a service timeline on all long-haul and ultra-long-haul flights, ensuring they can plan their journey without missing anything on offer. A pre-dinner drinks option will also now be available on flights of over five hours, with refreshments and cocktail snacks available prior to the main meal being served."

"Food portions have increased by 25 per cent - 50 per cent, with a greater focus on the use of local, fresh and healthy ingredients that are in season. Meals will also feature individually-wrapped artisanal warm infused bread and an individual bottle of water. A wider selection of mid-flight movie snacks includes a tantalising array of cheese and crackers, chocolate bar, potato crisps and popcorn, with innovative flavours such as Himalayan Salted Caramel and French Butter and Pink Salt provided by gourmet popcorn brand 4700BC," the press release continued.

Emirates Airlines has announced the launch of its A380 service from Dubai to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The new service will be the first scheduled A380 service to Riyadh by the airline and will mark Riyadh as the 51st destination to be serviced by the Emirates A380 aircraft.

The A380 service will operate on a five-times-a-week frequency and will replace the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft that serviced the Dubai-Riyadh sector.

The Emirate A380 aircraft features a 3-class configuration with 14 First Class Private Suites and 76 fully flat-bed Business Class seats on the Upper Deck and 429 Economy Class seats in the Main Deck. An on-board lounge for premium passengers and curated meals, amenities, and in-flight entertainment for all cabins are some of the other features of the Emirates A380 experience.

Qantas Airlines has announced its plans to introduce the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on its Sydney-San Francisco route. The Dreamliner will replace the Boeing 747 aircraft currently serving the route. Dreamliner services will commence with effect from December 4, 2019 and will complement the airline's existing Dreamliner services between Melbourne and San Francisco.

While the flights between Melbourne and San Francisco operates four times per week, the Sydney - San Francisco flight will operate daily.

AirAsia has announced the launch of several new flights across Asia as part of its route network expansion efforts. The airline has launched new flight services from Malaysia to China, and from Thailand to Indonesia and Cambodia.

SpiceJet has announced the launch of several new flights from Delhi and Mumbai to the rest of India. The new services include flights on new routes as well as additional frequencies on existing routes. Most of the new flights will operate on a daily frequency.

SpiceJet has announced its plans to launch new international flights from Mumbai to several cities across Asia. The new flights will be non-stop direct flights and will connect India to cities in Hong Kong, UAE, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and Nepal. Services on all of these routes are expected to be in operation by the end of May.

The new launches make SpiceJet the only Indian budget carrier to offer daily direct flights from Mumbai to Hong Kong, Kathmandu, Colombo, Dhaka and Riyadh.

The airline will be deploying its Boeing 737 NG aircraft on the new routes.

Emirates Airlines has announced its plans to launch regular scheduled flights to Porto, Portugal. Porto will be the second city in Portugal to be served by Emirates. Services on the route are expected to commence with effect from July 2, 2019 with a four-times-a-week frequency.

A Boeing 777-300ER with 8 First Class Private Suites, 42 Business Class seats and 310 Economy Class seats will operate on the route. Passengers across all classes will enjoy in-flight entertainment, regionally-inspired meals, complimentary beverages, and up to 20 MB complimentary Wi-Fi.

Etihad Airways has announced its plans to increase the frequency of its flights from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow and Moscow Domodedovo. The airline will launch two additional flights to London Heathrow to cater to the busy summer period.

A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 28 Business Studios and 271 Economy Smart seats will operate the additional daily flights to London.

A press release issued by the airline announcing the additional flights stated, "Between 26 May and 22 June, four daily flights will be operated on the route, increasing to five from 23 June to 28 September, returning to four daily flights from 29 September to 26 October."

For Moscow, the airline will launch an additional daily flight, taking up the frequency to double daily. The additional flight will operate seasonally between October 27 and May 10, 2020. An Airbus A320 will service the Abu Dhabi - Moscow route.

Qantas Airlines has announced its plans to launch new direct flights from Sydney to Sapporo, Japan. The launch of the new flight service will make Qantas the only airline to fly direct from Sydney to Sapporo. The new seasonal service will operate thrice a week with effect from December 16, 2019 to March 28, 2020. Bookings are currently open.

An upgraded Airbus A330 will operate on the route. The service will complement the airline's existing services to Japan. Currently, Qantas operates regular scheduled flights from Sydney to Tokyo Haneda and Osaka, from Melbourne and Brisbane to Tokyo Narita.

Commenting on the impending launch, Naren Kumar, Acting CEO at Qantas International said, “Travel between Australia and Japan is booming. These new flights make it easier for Australians to reach Hokkaido’s popular ski resorts like Niseko and Rusutsu."

"Domestic connections with Jetstar Japan will also open up new options for customers who want to travel beyond the Hokkaido region for both business and leisure," Mr. Kumar continued.

United Airlines has announced its plans to launch new non-stop flights from New York/Newark to Cape Town, South Africa. The new flight service will make the United Airlines the first US Carrier to offer non-stop flights between New York and Cape Town, reducing the existing travel time between the two cities by almost 4 hours.

Services on the route will commence with effect from December 15, 2019. A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with 48 United Polaris Business Class seats, 88 Economy Plus seats and 116 United Economy seats will service the route. The flights will operate on a thrice-a-week frequency.

United Airlines has announced new flights from Washington D.C. to Florida as part of its network expansion plans. The airline will be launching new twice-daily, year-round flights from Washington Dulles to Fort Myers and Sarasota in Florida. The services will commence with effect from October 29, 2019.

The airline has also announced its decision to pre-pone its seasonal winter service between Miami and Washington Dulles by two months. The service will now begin with effect from August 2019.

Commenting on the launch, Ankit Gupta, Vice-President - Domestic Network Planning at United Airlines stated, "These new routes offer our customers many more opportunities to conveniently travel year-round between Florida and our Washington hub. Our schedule offers customers from Fort Myers and Sarasota easy connections to more than 130 flights across the United States and 11 European destinations with just one stop."

A press release announcing the launch also stated, "In addition to its new service between Washington Dulles and Fort Myers and Sarasota, United operates more than 140 daily flights to 12 Florida cities."

Effective October 27, United will offer the following service from its U.S. hubs to Florida.

Delta Airlines has announced the launch of a new non-stop flight from Mumbai to New York. The launch of the new service will make Delta airlines the only US carrier to operate a non-stop flight between Mumbai and New York. Services on the route are expected to commence with effect from December 22, 2019.

The airline will operate a newly-renovated Boeing 777-200LR aircraft with Delta One suites, Delta Premium Select seats, Delta Comfort + and Main Cabin options. Passengers across all classes will enjoy seat-back in-flight entertainment, Gogo Ku Wi-Fi connectivity, full-spectrum LED ambient lighting and access to free mobile messaging on board through iMessage, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

A press release announcing the launch stated, "The JFK - Mumbai flight will be operated out of Delta's premier international gateway at New York - JFK, and will offer convenient connections from more than 50 communities throughout the United States, Canada and Latin America. Demand for flights between the U.S. and India has increased significantly in the last decade, and New York is the largest U.S. market to India with the largest base of corporate customers."

New flights to London's Gatwick Airport, Tel Aviv, Paris and Amsterdam are also in the pipeline.

Qatar Airways has announced its plans to launch new flights to Rabat, Morocco. The new flights will operate via Marrakech on a thrice-a-week frequency. Services will commence with effect from May 29, 2019; a Boeing 787 will service the route.

The airline has also announced daily flight services to Casablanca and additional flights to Morocco through a business agreement with Royal Air Maroc.

The first Hotel Indigo by IHG in Venice, the Hotel Indigo Venice - Sant'Elena has a location in one of the less-explored parts of Venice.
